When the world spins out of control, love is the only anchor left.

Durdurun Dünyayı (Stop the World) is a classic Turkish arabesque drama that follows Ferdi (Ferdi Tayfur), a humble young man whose life is upended by betrayal when his fiancée, Necla (Necla Nazır), is manipulated by her mother and Ferdi's ambitious childhood friend, Murat (Yalçın Gülhan), into a marriage of wealth. Left heartbroken and seeking a new path, Ferdi is taken under the wing of a seasoned mentor who teaches him the world of high-stakes gambling, transforming him into a powerful and wealthy card shark. Driven by a desire for retribution against those who wronged him, Ferdi re-enters their lives to settle old scores, setting the stage for an emotional journey exploring ambition, class divides, heartbreak, and the heavy personal toll of revenge.
